To “stretch” our dollars, assuming our basic needs are met, what might be an approach that is systematic and strategic ?
I got sticker shock recently. Price of my favourite sourdough has increased more than 20%. My friends rowed their eyes when I told them my “discovery”. They shared this : ”You know the ‘military special operation’ has been more than 100 days … “. To counter the sticker shock, the money saving expert in me is in full force. Should I buy another bread or switch to noodles? Buy in bulk? I still remember advice from my financial freedom expert. He has advised me to diversify my income, e.g. side hustle, investment portfolio diversification. The rebellion in me, what is my approach in the situation of higher inflation besides saving money and diversifying income?
In an environment of high inflation, what might be an approach that is systematic and strategic ?
Assuming I were a mechanic for diesel bus and I have $100, what is an approach that meets the following criterion?
1) What if the focus in the higher inflation environment is beyond money, e.g. more than pursuing money, more than about oneself?
2) Assuming my basic needs are met, what is a way to spend this $100 that will help me get closer to my purpose?
